«

I need some information about where to buy emulsifiers, particullarly an emulsifier that can keep nitromethane and water from seperating. I'm an M.E but have only basic chemistry knowledge.
Thanks,
Jacob

Hello Trasky,
The good news is that this is one of my specialities... the bad news, is that it is quite specific. As an example, I have spent the last three months developing a specialized emulsifier for oil and water.
There are many companies which can provide you the basics, but this would be best for a chemist. If you have a chemist on staff, they can get you in the right direction and start appropriate testing.
Companies include:
http://www.stepan.com
http://www.dow.com
and many others.
I wish you well.
Sincerely,
Eugene

Hello P,
I am living in Canada and the United States. These suppliers are for North America
.
I work with a company that supplies oilfield solutions in over 80 countries, so I hope that there is a good chance that you would be able to get samples from distributors such as I mentioned.
I wish you success on your project.
Sincerely,
Eugene
