Is there any reaction between carbon dioxide and sodium hydrogencarbonate solution?
My thought is that carbon dioxide, an acidic oxide , dissolve in water in the solution to form carbonic acid,so typical acid property will be shown, they react to form sodium carbonate ,carbon dioxide and water...
But,when i tried to write the equation CO2 can be cancelled,Does it mean that Sodium hydrogencarbonate itself, can decompose to form sodium carbonate + CO2+H2O?
