Breaking down formula
« on: August 05, 2008, 03:25:33 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I am new here and very much need some experts help. I have created some formula's that aid in many health problems and plan on marketting them. As I am talking with companies and lawyers many of them will need samples.

So my question is, with all my formula's being organic I was told by a friend that all organic compounds in a formula cannot be broken down if I was to send out samples to people. Is this true? I do not wish to have my formula's stolen. Most of my ingredients fall under vitamins, amino acids, elements and herbal mixes.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I thank you in advance for your help.

I'd say the individual ingredients could almost certainly be discovered if someone had access to the appropriate spectroscopy machines.

Thank you NJ,

You stated that the individual ingredients could be detected but could each ingredient be detected in a formula with all the ingredients combined?

As well I was speaking to another person and they told me that there are masking agents to mask the ingredients in one of his formula's. Is this possible??

I meant it would be possible to separate the product from it's finished form into it's individual constituents and then to identify those constituents.  I don't know anything about masking.
