I was wondering when do use which formula:
KE
avg
= (3/2)kT
KE
avg
= (3/2)RT
Is the first one for fluids, and the bottom one for ideal gases?

N
A
= Avagrados number
R= k ยท N
A
k = R / N
A
So you use one when you are talking about per molecule, and one when you are talking about per mole. Given the above information, which is which?
