Saftey concern of potassium chromate
« on: September 02, 2008, 05:20:52 AM »
I use 1% potassium chromate solution everyday for titrations and make up 1% solution with 5% concetration every month.

Should I use saftey glasses, gloves etc, when handling them?

Glasses are a must always. I would ignore gloves in this case, as long as you reasonably careful. But if you are clumsy and you spill the solution each time, gloves are a must too ;)
