right, so I'm stumped, because I know that Iodine is diatomic.. but still, I'm having trouble..
Determine the stoichiometric relationship (molar relationship) between Thiosulphate and Iodine given the equation:
2S
2
O
3
2-
+ I
2
---> 2I
-
+ S
4
O
6
2-
Where the thiosulphate is 2S
2
O
3
2-
. Any help? This is the only thing standing in my way of doing my write up..

Looking at stoichiometric coefficients - 2:1.
Do you know how to read balanced reaction equations?

Most of the time, yes. I have been out of chemistry for about 4 months, however, and was having a bit of a brain malfunction... I'd been doing the same type of thing for a few hours, within the same report... Thank you so much!...
