About polymer thermal analysis with DSC

Well what is your problem?  What are you looking for?  Glass transition temperatures? Melts? Decomposition?   Tg presumably.

The calorific curve will be smooth while nothing happens, but you will get peaks and bumps at temperatures where things happen that are exo or endo thermic (like Tgs, phase changes, reaction, melts, decompositions etc..)
