Need help with Chem Ratio
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:52:58 PM »
Hey guys, I really need help with this problem. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

The water at Lake Michigan contains 6.90 parts per billion of E. Coli. While swimming, you swallow 1.00 liter of this water. How many micrograms of this bacteria did you swallow? (The density of the water is 1.053 g/cm3).

Using the density of water, how many grams is in 1 liter?

If 6.9 PPB is the bacteria, how much is there?
