Write the reaction for the dissolution of ammonium chloride in water?
Na
2
CO
3
(s) → 2Na
+
(aq)
+ CO
3
2-
(aq) (insoluble)?
Should CO
3
2-
be written as a (s) insoluable or an (aq) for soluble?
Thanks,

Na
2
CO
3
is not ammonium chloride.
Ions are always (aq).
Note that (aq) should be not a subscript, it should be placed exactly on the same level as normal text. If your teacher/book states otherwise, they are wrong. This is IUPAC defined thing.

Sorry I typed the wrong reaction.
The one posted is the reaction for the dissolution of sodium carbonate in water.
Write the reaction for the dissolution of ammonium chloride in water: Is this correct?
NH
4
Cl(aq)
NH4
+
(aq)+ Cl
-
(aq)
Again I would love to know if this is correct and sorry for the earlier confusion.
Best,

Cl(s) - you start with solid.
