Hello all, I am trying to find a semi-inexpensive solution to a problem I face. My graduate research centers around using the cavity ringdown technique to observe the kinetics of atmospheric-like reactions. We use an Ar-F laser as our excitation source, and a YAG laser coupled with a dye-system for the ringdown production. I am looking for a way to take our excitation beam and turn it 90 degrees before it enters the cavity. We had a periscope system , but it was incredibly inefficient, and the power was cut at least in half after making it through. The only solutions I can come up with are fairly expensive prisms. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
