Molar mass of
« on: October 22, 2008, 12:23:35 AM »
..I know how to calculate molecular weight for but this got me stuck; I've never seen one like this.
The molar mass of B2(SO4)3. 15 H2O
What got me confuse is the no. 15
This is what I have in my paper:
B 2 x 10.811 =
A 3 x 32.066 =
O 12 x 15.9994 =
* Do I combine S and O's answer, and then times by 15? What about H, do I leave it alone because it's coefficient is 2?

it just means there is 15 water molecules per B2(SO4)3.15H2O. So you just have to add the molar mass of 15 water molecules to that you have calculated
No matters what results are waiting for us, it's nothing but the DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to check, is the answer 343?
