I am using activated charcoal to purify my product (which is yellow but should be clear). Has anyone else done this before? If so any tips on how to remove the fine charcoal powder after? Is it fine to use a frit or should I use some aluminium oxide to stop the frit getting clogged?

I wouldn't use just a frit. If it were me, I would use celite as a filtering aid or just do a gravity filtration through a qualitative filter paper.
