hydrogen isotope & atomic emission spectrum

Deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen with 1 proton and 1 neutron in its nucleus (Deuterium = 2H). However, its atomic emission spectrum is identical to that of hydrogen. explain why this is the case.

is it because number of neutrons have nothing to do with atomic emission spectra?

Yes, it is the electrons and of course each emission spectra is characterize to an unique element only.
No matters what results are waiting for us, it's nothing but the DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!
