So, I'm trying to do some calculations from the titration lab that I just did. I used Na2S2O3 to titrate a unknown concentration of KIO3.
The concentration of the Na2S2O3 solution is .02630 M.
The initial volume of the KIO3 solution is 4.988 mL. The initial buret reading is 0.000 mL and the final buret reading is 8.750 mL. The actual volume delivered by the buret was 8.703 mL (which I calculated through buret calibration).
I have a spread sheet that figures that answer for me to be .00765 M of KIO3.. only problem is that I can't get that to work out on my own by hand, (which i need to hand in) also my professor said that it is a 1:6 ratio of Na2S2O3 to KIO3.
I'm just not sure how to get the answer. Could some one please help me out?
