decomposition of Cu(PPh3)2BH4
« on: November 27, 2008, 02:48:34 PM »
I'm struggling to work out the decomposition equation and the bonding mode of BH4 for the above complex.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hint
[Cu(PPh3)2]+[BH4]-

What kind of decomposition - thermal, with oxygen, with acids ?
Look at Wikipedia for sodium borohydride!
