pH in mixtures
« on: December 07, 2008, 12:39:00 PM »
Hi, if somebody can give me some insight into this problem, I would really appreciate it.

A solution of vinegar is divided into 2 equal parts.  Water is added to one part, while an equal volume of ethanol is added to the other.  Do the two parts have the same pH?  Why or Why not?  If so, which solution is more acidic and why?
