CMC and bubbles or foams

A little and too basic doubt, but I couldn't find answers yet...

In a solution, aqueous or non-aqueous, is necessary concentration of a surfactant be high enough to be equal or above the CMC to begin the formation of bubbles and/or foams through mechanical stirring?!?!? Can I observe bubbles or foam in a solution with surfactant concentration under the CMC?!

CMC = Critical Micellar Concentration

Dear adquimico;

(Sorry, I haven’t realised your question till yet.)

Of course that you are able to recognise bubbles/foam “long” before you reach the CMC, because lower concentrations already lowers the "hydrophobia of air" quite before.
