pink mystery solution

helo, firstly i was trying to quickly produce some rust, snd i mixed bleach, vinegar and water with some steel wool i then add a little H2O2. generally it makes rust quickly which settles and you pour off the water. this time there was a pinkish solution instead of water.

any ideas what it might be ?

anyone have any idea what could result from iron(steel), sodium hypochlorite,acetic acid, and hydrogen peroxide that could result in a pink solution, any idea ? its rather vivid, lighter than phenolphthalien and a base but deffinately not rust colored...

Probabably manganese contamination in the steel, forming permanganate (which is *highly* visible even in very low concentrations. Steel wool isn't exactly clean iron.
