How many molecules of oxygen are produced by the decomposition of 6.54 g of potassium chlorate (KClO3)? 2KClO3 (s) -----> 2KCl(s) + 3O2(g)

I don't understand this question. Can someone PLEASE tell me the correct way to do it? Don't just give me the answer! Thanks.

It looks like your equation is balanced. Start by figuring out how many moles of of KClO3 you have. Do you remember how to do that?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
