Sulphate concentration of Sulphuric Acid

Hi

I need to make a dilute solution of sulphuric acid in water which will have a known concentration of free sulphate ions (192 mg/L). I therefore need to know the sulphate concentration of a dilute solution of sulphuric acid. What is the best way of doing this? Can I just make up some solutions and test the sulphate concentration by ion chromatography? Do I have to worry about varying dissociation at different concentrations?

From your setup, it is actually pretty easy to figure out, without an instrument.  Can you start with an ioinc formula for the dissociation of sulfuric acid?

Which ions exists in a solution of sulphuric acid ? How are they (their concentrations) connected to each other ? You have known [SO4--]. Browse around the internet and prepare to calculate few square equation (i think it is a square one).
