hi guys,
I'm stuck on a homework problem
It asked, why the sign of heat of reaction was positive, negative, zero, or can't be determine.
The explanation should be based on the chemical process and not based on Gibbs free energy.
Thanks guys

It would really depend on the particular reaction, and should in fact be based on the Gibbs free energy of the reaction. I don't really know where this question is going with the line of reasoning it asks for.
