Chem Titration help
« on: March 05, 2009, 11:17:40 PM »
Here is the question...

Mr. Chemist performs a titration using 28.2 mL of KOH, standardized to 0.185M.

A. If he had 25.0 mL solution of sulfuric acid, what is the concentration of this solution?

B. How many sulfate ions (in moles) were left in solution after the titration (Think about what you used up to help find what is left over)?

Start by writing a balanced equation for the reaction between H2SO4 and KOH.

Alternatively, determine valency and hence normality of each of the reactants..
