Experiments Involving Paper

Hi!
I'm new to the forum. In my chemistry class, I have to to come up with a lab that involves paper, but no other specifications are given. Do you guys know by any chance an interesting experiment I can do?
Thanks!!

What is paper? How do we make it? What do we do with it? You can use those questions to try and figure out something you don't know, then devise an experiment to test that.

Why is paper better to write on than other things? What effects the permeability of paper? why is paper so easy to burn? Why is it so easy to crush paper, but so hard to take out the wrinkles? Does the composition of paper allow for other uses? IDk that was just at the top of my head hope it helped/ got your brain jogging.

Acid content of paper? That's what causes it to yellow I believe.

more like
"fwump"
except paper nitrates poorly. So your nitrogen content probably will not be higher than 8 or so %
But if you find proper porous cotton paper, you can probably make decent NC out of it.
