You have 1,4-dimethoxybenzene and need to attach 2 t-butyl groups. What compounds besides t-butanol and t-butyl bromide (w/ a Lewis acid) could also work?

What's the synthon you need to attach a t-butyl group to the ring? How else can you make it?
