Does anyone know other methods of creating 4-benzyoxyindole other than the 3 step process from the Batcho and Leimgruber literature?
There are obviously many ways to create this chemical and many starting points. Here is a crude illustration of 4-benzyoxyindole for reference:

It's just indole with another benzene ring attached via an oxy-link connection. I've seen a few methods discussed on other message boards like Science Madness, but I wanted to see what people here might come up with.
