In order to form one complete redox reaction...
« on: May 10, 2009, 04:20:59 PM »
In order to form one complete redox reaction, can you combine more than TWO half-reactions? Or does a complete redox reaction always consist of TWO half-reactions?

Thanks in advance!

Can you give an example of what you mean? use general descriptors for the half reactions, i.e.

A2 + 2 e-  :rarrow: 2 A-
