Hi there,

I have to an assignment @ university on molecular modelling of some molecules; we have to use gaussview 4.1 for it but we have to do it home with a vpn connection to the server of the university, and this way an optimization calculation takes like forever; I've been looking on the internet for some download links of the gaussview program (torrent, rapidshare link) but unsuccesfull uptill now. Can anyone help me to download the program??

I doubt there would be commercial software like Gaussian on things like bittorrent, to be honest. Is there anyway you could get the executable or similar from your university, together with a temporary password or similar?

Also, depending on the complexity of your molecules, the optimisation may well take a while - how large are the structures?
