« on: May 12, 2009, 05:00:58 AM »
Hi, I need help figuring out a reaction mechanism for the reduction of 1,3-dimethylanthraquinone to the corrispettive anthrone with SnCl2 and HCl. I've tried but so far didn't succeded.
Can anyone help?
thanks
(I posted this before in the undergraduate section and didn't read it was for General chemistry)
