Moles from concentration and volume
« on: May 28, 2009, 09:00:03 PM »
Hello, having trouble getting the right answer (I struggle with stoichiometry).

Anyways basically I have a balanced equation that looks like:

3X + 2B = 1XX + 6BB

They give me initial volume (L) and initial concentration (M) for both reagents and want me to calculate initial moles.

initial moles for X would be M(X) x V(X) and then what do i do with the stoich ratios?

Thanks...

3 moles of X will react with how many moles of B?

1 mole of X will react with how many moles of B?

Do you know how to read reaction equation?
