Hi, I need to do some tests to determine which of these two water sample I have collected is more potable. I will not be consuming it, nor will others. I have done some basic tests:

- water hardness
- pH
- nitrate/nitrite levels
- turbidity
- temperature
- dissolved oxygen
- phosphate levels

I am only performing this on a chemistry level so no tests for micro-organisms or bacteria will be done. Are these enough tests on a chemistry level to compare results of the two samples and say what sample is more potable? I will include in my discussion that further tests for bacteria and micro-organisms on a biology level will need to be conducted before the final conclusion of potability is done.

Thanks for your help ;)

Heavy metals, pesticides - this is not a complete list, this is just to signal new directions.
