Need Help
« on: June 04, 2009, 09:13:01 AM »
I need to know is so called citrate - citric acid?
Please help me with this I have to make potassium citrate:citrate(4:1) and I don't know if citrate is citric acid.

After that I will need help to prepare K3C (potassium citrate). I think that it will be made by adding 3 KOH + citric acid=K3citrate and 3H2O, but I don't know how much from each to mix, maybe I have to make 3M KOH and 1M citric acid and to mix them in equal volumes. Please help me with that. I really need to make this.
Thank you
