atomic weight

Does the atomic weight actually mean that the element has more weight as in I weigh more than Bob etc?

You can compare atoms, you can't compare 'elements'. But when you compare atoms, yes, atom of helium actually weights more then atom of hydrogen.

That's assuming you ignore isotopes.
