NADPH oxidation in Cholesterol Biosynthesis
« on: July 07, 2009, 10:33:40 AM »
What is the mechanism for oxidation of double bonds and methyl groups (in cholesterol biosynthesis from lanosterol) using NAD(P)H/O2? Thanks!

conversion of lanosterol to cholesterol involves many reactions and the mechanisms are not fully understood as i read in the textbook.
