Hi,
I am a third year student in Chemical Engineering. I am currently working on a project for Ethanol dehydration by extractive distillation. I want to achieve both, an ethanol purity of 99.7% along with an high efficiency (less than 0.5% wastage on ethanol). The object is to lower steam consumption (The target is around 0.4 kg steam /kg feed). Could someone please provide me with a list of solvents that are used so that I can run simulation with them on Chemcad.
