I'm afraid your English is slightly confusing, I'm not sure what you mean by "root to this word". As for mineral acid, a mineral acid is an acid derived from inorganic compounds (does not contain carbon).

If by root you mean definition (rather than linguistic origin) Wikipedia is your Friend:
