I was also wondering does the volume of the solute get affected by each extraction or is it the mmols only that changes. I was thinking since initially the solute was 3mmols and 30ml, I would subtract x determined from both values instead of just from the mmols. Or maybe since I am subtracting from the mmols already, that is effective enough.
