POTASSIUM NITRATE

Hello, I need a little help.

Im trying to make potassium nitrate but it takes to long. I am making water proof wicks (or learning). Could i buy the stuff they sell at garden stores?

You need to visit rec.pyrotechnics.  Also consider that depending on your state, waterproof wicks are considered explosive devices.  The ATF regulates a lot of that material.  This thread is now closed.
