Solubility Rules
« on: September 30, 2009, 06:28:17 PM »
These are the solubility rules I've been going by:
http://www.files.chem.vt.edu/RVGS/ACT/notes/solubility_rules.html

They're pretty basic, so I'm not really sure about other elements or compounds, like these:

Cu
Zn   <-- are metals by themselves always insoluble?
Pb
Hg

CuO   <-- and this is one of those compounds that my basic rules don't really cover.

Can anyone tell me whether those would be soluble or not?  Thank you ^^
