Suspending Milk in Alcohol
«

Hello, I'm new here, and I hope this is the simplest of questions. I am an artist who does large charcoal drawings and is searching for a way to "fix" the charcoal to the paper in a non-toxic way. I have been experimenting with milk.
Will a skim milk and pure alcohol mix together?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

The alcohol would curdle the milk (denature all of the proteins, make them clump together, and fall out of solution, creating a cheese-like solid).
