Calculate change in energy expected for this process
« on: November 09, 2009, 09:23:24 PM »
Na (g) + Cl (g) -> Na+ (g) + Cl- (g)

I'm not sure what equation I am supposed to use to calculate this. I know that E=hf and E=-2.178x10^-18(z2/n2)  but I don't think those are the right equations to use.
