Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone had an idea why a reaction of Girard P hydrazine (pyridine with CCONHNH2 attached) would not react with cyclohexanone or 2-cyclohexen-1-one. Girard P hydrazine is a derivatising agent that replacing ketone groups. I am derivatising steroids and am successfully doing so by heating for 30mins at 70C and I am trying to find an internal standard.
