prepre th followin alcohol by hydration of an alkene. write the structure of the alkene, tell the method you would use and show intermeiate formed...

You should try and refer to your textbook or notes which your school have provided. I am sure this would be in them.

Do you have any additional text books [besides one issued by your school (they are not good)]? There is a topic on that here:

You should check it out. I actually do well with a book called Organic Chemistry: The Easy Way. It has a lot of BLUE ink which is pleasant on my eyes and it is quite up-to-date which is a major +.

there are three alkenes possible. you can put the double bond from the tertiary carbon to any other carbon. thus , three such are possible.
