Cytochrome P-450
« on: December 30, 2009, 03:11:45 AM »
What is the spin state of the Cytochrome P-450 assay that absorbs light at 450nm. (The reduced form of cytochrome p450)

I know that in the resting state of the enzyme Fe3 is low spin but that's in the the normal cytochrome-450 not the Fe2 .

Could someone please tell me whether they are the same or not?
