Periodic Table of Elements
« on: February 03, 2010, 09:45:33 PM »
I was not sure if this thread belonged here... but anyways...

I have run into the problem where whenever I found an interesting chemistry question, I was always lacking a periodic table. Being quite a lazy person, I found myself on the fence as to whether I would attempt the question numerically (as an addition to a conceptual approach) due to the fact that the nearest periodic table would be two floors away, or on a website. So, what I decided to do was to use a periodic table of elements as my computer background. However, I was unable to find a 'cool' looking periodic table of elements to use. Anyone have any exceptional looking tables?

Did you try the chemicalforums resources? Its near the bottom left of the page.

I wouldn't call it exceptional, but it seems to be better then anything else i could find.

I was looking for something with the atomic masses written directly on the table rather than requiring a click. Thank you though, I didn't realize that there was a resource section on the bottom left. The advertisements on the left made me disregard that entire section completely.

Actually, I think this will work perfectly! Thank you very much!
