What volume of hydrogen iodide is produced when 169 liters of hydrogen gas react according to the following reaction? (All gases are at the same temperature and pressure.)

hydrogen (g) + iodine (s)  :rarrow: hydrogen iodide (g)

I suppose we have to assume excess iodine.

This is simple application of Avogadro's hypothesis. Just write and balance reaction equation.
