Mass of Body during Decomposition
« on: February 27, 2010, 06:23:20 PM »
Hi There,

I have this question about the decomposition of bodies. Once a person dies and decomposition starts to take place, is there any possibility of the body being heavier than at time of death due to the gases being released by decomposition?

thanks

If gases evolve body is losing mass, not getting it.
