Which pair of reagents from list below act together to give tert-butyl methyl ether?
A) CH3O-Na+ B) (CH3)3CO-K+ C) CH3Br D) (CH3)3CBr
a) A and C
b) A and D
c) B and C
d) B and D
I think the correct answer is C (B and C). Am I right?

Sorry to play devil's advocate twice for your questions, but hey I'm bored and have a moment. You've correctly matched a nucleophile and an electrophile, the question remains...why did you pick those two?
