Hi alles,
Does anybody have experiance with Darzens condenzation reaction to make glycidil esters. The reaction i am looking for in particular is condenzation of cyclohexanon with bromoethylacetate and sodium ethoxide..What should be the reaction temperature and how to isolate the product best;any side reactions
