I thought from HyXOz, if y>z , in HnXOm(OH)b, m=0, n=y-z and b=z, if z>y , n=0, m= z-y, b=y. But it seems I'm wrong. Could anybody show me please?
thank you so much.

Does:
H=hydrogen?
O=oxygen?
X=Halogen?
n,m,b=integers?
What are you trying to do?
