I just want to check my answer
« on: April 30, 2010, 10:02:39 PM »
Hi, i was given the following question; what volume does 22g of CO2 occupy occupy at s.t.p?
i attempted the question and did this;

22.4 = 38g
    x = 22g
   ( i crossed multiply)
 38x = 492.8
   x  = 492.8/38
      = 13 dm^3

could anyone tell me if i did this correct? if i didn't could you correct me as to where i'm going wrong??
any assistance will be greatly appreciated!!
thank you!!

What is the molecular mass of CO2?

No, it is not. Calculate the correct value.
